How We Work

Each engagement is structured based on the unique needs of the client, drawing on a wide network of experts and subject specialists who have the most closely related skills. In many cases we will partner with and manage sub-contractors who will be an integral part of the project such as attorneys, PR firms, accountants, designers, developers, etc.

Team

Robert S. Glazer, Founder & Managing Director
Robert is the founder of Acceleration Partners and works with early stage companies as an advisor, board member and interim executive, helping them make the leap from concept to revenue generation through to profitability. He is also the founder of the popular consumer product review website Bobby’s Best and was a founder of R3 Partners, which developed niche web products for small businesses including Referral Monitor and You Should Meet.

Robert has a broad entrepreneurial background in operations, executive management and private equity with an emphasis on company formation, business strategy and revenue growth. Robert’s industry expertise includes consumer products and services, technology, retail and life sciences. Prior to Acceleration Partners, Robert served as the VP of Corporate Development for Isis Maternity, helping to grow the business from a prototype into a multi million dollar, three center operations in less than three years. Previously, Robert worked for two early stage venture funds, founded an online product registration business (BrandStamp) and served as an advisor and consultant to numerous early and growth stage businesses.

Robert serves on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters Massachusetts Bay and the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation. He received his B.A. with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jason Henrichs, Managing Director
Jason Henrichs has significant investing and operating experience in early stage companies. Jason is a Managing Director at Rock Maple Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund, where he assissts in the development of the portfolio and serves on six boards.

Prior to joining Rock Maple Ventures, Jason served as the Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Genomics, a venture-backed developer of ultra-high throughput sequencing technologies. While at U.S. Genomics, Jason was responsible for leading the team that completed the first technical proof of concept, market development, operations and raising venture financing. He is also a founder ctr!Ventures, a conception stage venture capital firm, where he lead the successful investment in and served on the board of Britemoon (acquired by ClickTactics). Before joining the world of early stage ventures, Jason was a strategy consultant at Monitor Company, where he specialized in strategy design and industry restructuring, and project engineer for Deluxe Corporation where he participated in the redesign of the company’s core manufacturing process and the development of systems to exploit new business opportunities.

Jason began his education in leadership and engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point and completed studies in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Sciences at Harvard University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Jason serves on the boards of Seahorse Biosciences, Memento, Decision Biomarkers, MedVantx, and Morphotek. He is also the past President of the Massachusetts’s Service Alliance and advisor to City Year.

Jason’s business experience ranges from writing the business plan and raising capital for a new venture to playing an advisory role in a multi-billion dollar merger. His industry experience includes biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, shipping, energy and commodity materials. Jason also co-authored an academic study comparing the efficacy of the prevailing equity valuation techniques that was published internally at the Monitor Group.
