Project Information:
Having grown very successfully through word of mouth and traditional advertising, Tiny Prints management wanted to expand it's performance based marketing initiatives. Working closely with the founders, we designed and launched affiliate programs for both brands within two weeks on the Share a Sale platform, generating revenue from week one and a thirty day ROI. We also manage the programs on an ongoing basis, helping to recruit and train new affiliates and have attracted over 1,500 affiliates to date.

Threadsmith has a proprietary technology which allows users to create, personalize and order custom embroidery items directly from their computer.
Project Information: When Threadsmith decided to make the leap from technology provider to direct e-commerce site, we were approached to help launch the website—the first to offer customers the chance to create personalized embroidered items in real time. Asked by the company's investors to target the baby and small business market, we architected the design of the new website based on this business strategy—recruiting designers and creating a marketing launch strategy that included both paid and organic search engine optimization, the launch of an affiliate program platform and both viral and business development outreach. The launch went from concept to implementation in under four months.

We partnered with Fresh Tilled Soil to redesign the company ’s strategy for leveraging the internet to acquire new customers cost effectively. Newpro’s website, which had not being indexed previously, is now competing for the top spots in the major search engines for key terms such as “replacement windows".

Project Information:
We began working with Isis Maternity in 2003 on new revenue and customer acquisition initiatives including the company’s highly successful referral, membership, member benefits and resource guide programs. Since this time, Isis Maternity has developed from a prototype into a multi-center operation which has become a household name for expecting and new parents in the greater Boston area and has attracted over 20,000 clients to date.

Project Information:
We were engaged by the Vice President of Intellectual Property to explore the launch of a new credit card entry based upon several patents in the company's intellectual property portfolio. We conducted market research and developed multiple business scenarios to create value from the I.P portfolio. We then worked with the client to develop a business model, executive summary and make improvements to the existing patents. This work has become the basis of internal and external fundraising, management recruitment and project planning.

Project Information: Acceleration Partners was engaged by the founders of Barton and Gray to help develop a new executive summary for the company’s revamped Mariners Card Program. In preparation for a second round of fundraising, we repositioned a 50 page PPM into a more concise, focused and well received business summary that resonated with prospective investors. We also helped the company reach out to a target group of potential customers and investors.

Project Information: We were engaged by Beau-coup's founders to revitalize the company’s in-house affiliate program, which had shown little growth over the past year and had many affiliates who were competing with the company’s own marketing efforts. We immediately updated the terms and conditions of the program, removed questionable affiliates, overhauled all of the creatives and launched a new program on Share a Sale to aggressively recruit new affiliates in targeted segments. Within six months, we had quadrupled and significantly diversified the base of active affiliates who send orders to the company on a regular basis. We also worked with Beau-coup on search engine optimization strategy and the launch of their new website.

Project Information:
We worked with the owner of the local Needham franchise on developing marketing and customer acquisition strategies, with a focus on viral marketing and loyalty based programs. We also advised on aligning the company’s pricing strategy vis-a-vis the competition. Since opening, the Needham store has far outperformed other national franchisees and has attracted the majority of its customers via word of mouth.

Project Information:
Working with a group of prominent Boston businessmen, we examined the feasibility
of launching a new business in the wireless directory market. Based on our
findings and recommendations, the group ultimately decided not to proceed
with the venture.

Project Information: We worked Get Solar’s founder on the launch of the company's innovative new solar lead generation service. This included helping to develop the company's business model and revenue strategy as well as implementing tactics to ensure that early customers would have a rewarding experience. We also worked with Get Solar on a marketing and search optimization strategy and the development an affiliate based commerce store.

We worked with CSDI to develop their executive summary and financial model

Project Information:
We were engaged by the VP of Intellectual Property to help develop a strategy for monetizing non-core, early stage technologies. We developed a framework and plan for creating an external incubator to spin out IP with the potential to flourish in venture funded companies. We also created the business plan and assessed the viability of a test case spin out.
In a second project, we examined the viability of an open sourced business model for an application platform, including developing multiple financial projections and examining the success and failure of similar open source initiatives.

Round Print is developing a next-generation cylindrical digital printer designed for the commercial packaging and advertising specialty industries.
Project Information:
We worked with Round Print’s founders to develop the company's executive summary and financial model in preparation for Series A fundraising. We also gathered competitive intelligence, researched industry trends, conducted primary interviews with prospective customers and hired and managed outside marketing vendors.

Project Information:
The company approached us with an interesting dilemma: while they had been growing at over 20% per year since their IPO, they were worried changing market forces could spell trouble for continued growth. We assisted the Senior Vice President of Strategy and the Vice President of New Initiatives in an overhaul of the corporate strategy and became an integral part of the implementation team. Ongoing work has centered around launching a new business unit, improving marketing to millenials and maintaining an entrepreneurial environment within the enterprise
