In March of 2011, Shutterfly acquired Tiny Prints. Our work with Tiny Prints for Shutterfly has attracted more than 7,000 affiliates to date with a more than 100% annual sales growth rate for three consecutive years.
The affiliate program is consistently one of the top performers on the ShareASale network and is regarded as a top program across the affiliate industry, winning the Exceptional Merchant prize at the 2012 Affiliate Summit, beating out Amazon.com and Overstock.com. The program has also launched industry leading features such as a Storefronts Program and a Dynamic Pixel system that alters commissions based on the quality of an order. For SEO, AP has worked with the Reebok team to areas of opportunity in organic search, to upgrade on-page SEO and to develop detailed strategies for managing SEO for future product, feature, and page additions. In its affiliate program, Acceleration Partners will be working with Reebok to phase out low value affiliates, develop a new strategy for content-based & shopping sites and focus on adding new affiliates that can drive new customer acquisition. TaskRabbit is a fast-moving company in the quickly expanding niche of on-demand services. Users can hire TaskRabbits, via an e-Bay like auction system, to do anything from laundry to filing to errands, and much more. Founded in 2008, as TaskRabbit grew and rapidly expanded its city roster, its network of TaskRabbits, and the number and type of tasks advertised, the site soon found itself with a nearly overwhelming number of pages and a user experience and information architecture challenge. Additionally, the site needed to speak to individual users, business users, and the TaskRabbits themselves – creating another level of complexity.
Acceleration Partners was selected as a strategic partner to work with TaskRabbit to update the site’s information architecture to develop a strong, high-conversion user experience for each type of user, while optimizing the site for search and developing a page indexing strategy. Additionally, we are working with TaskRabbit to develop accurate and actionable analytics tracking and to improve the on-page user experience and conversion rates.

Zact approached Acceleration Partners before the service launched, asking us to advise them as they developed their website for launch. We helped to architect the site in a user and SEO-friendly way, consulted with their senior management team to determine KPIs and set up analytics to track them, and served in a general advisory role as they began to develop their digital marketing strategy. We also worked with the Zact team pre-launch to help find beta testers and to develop an affiliate marketing strategy to be rolled out shortly after launch. Post-launch, we have continued to work with the Zact team to analyze site traffic data and make recommendations to drive traffic and improve conversion, and to roll out the affiliate program.

Layla Grayce had previously launched an affiliate program without outside management, only to shut it down a few months later because the program was overrun with fraudulent and low-quality affiliates. This time around, they knew they wanted the help of experienced professionals to launch their new program. In 2009 we began our engagement with Layla Grayce and worked with the company’s founders to re-launch a new affiliate program within two weeks on ShareASale with stronger terms and conditions, comprehensive program materials and all new creatives. We also aggressively recruited and attracted quality affiliates and product feed sites who generate orders from new and high value customers. The program reached 10% of sales within nine months of launch, without a single coupon or incentive site and grew over 250% in its second year.

When the new Director of Marketing at Tea Collection reviewed their Google Affiliate Network (GAN) affiliate program, he discovered that the majority of sales were coming from trademark bidders and low quality coupon sites. We were engaged to re-launch the Tea Collection affiliate program on the ShareASale network. We implemented stronger terms and conditions, overhauled the program materials and creatives, launched a new affiliate website, and recruited and attracted high quality and relevant affiliates.
